Word Chain is a classic verbal party game reimagined here as a fast solo vocabulary challenge against the clock, built around a simple but surprisingly demanding rule: every word you type must begin with the exact same letter that the previous word in the chain ended with. Starting completely open with any word you like, each successful entry immediately reveals the specific letter your next word needs to start with, and you have just fifteen fresh seconds on the clock for every single word, resetting back to fifteen the moment you successfully submit a valid entry, keeping constant, genuine time pressure on your vocabulary recall throughout the entire session. Repeating a word you have already used earlier in the same chain is not allowed and simply triggers a gentle rejection message rather than ending your run, giving you an immediate chance to think of a fresh alternative before the clock runs out completely. The growing chain of words is displayed in full at all times, letting you glance back over your progress and avoid accidentally repeating an earlier word, and letting the clock finally hit zero ends the session and reveals your total chain length, giving you a clear, motivating number to try to beat on your very next attempt.
